This washed and graded coarse granular sand is ideal for adding to composts for root cuttings and propagating cuttings, greenhouse benches, breaking up clay soils and top dressing lawns.
- Ideal for adding to composts to provide improved drainage for growing alpine plants.
- In warm weather Sharp Sand can be used to prevent alpines panted in clay pots from drying out. Simply sink the pots into damp Sharp Sand up to their rim, and the water will pass through sand to the pot.
