This Mercia 10x6ft Portabase is ideal for gardens requiring a base for a new shed or garden building.
Made in the UK from ethically sourced pressure treated timber, resulting in a garden base offering advanced protection against wood rot and decay, while raising the structure from the ground to avoid damp. It is important when installing this portabase to use a spirit level to check the frame is truly level, this will help to prevent any issues during the garden building installation process. Galvanized metal spikes ensure this frame remains firm, providing a sturdy base for garden buildings and raising them from the ground. The robust metal spikes also allow the base to level a gradient of up to 65mm. This portabase fits most Mercia 10x6ft shed and garden building offerings. The team will be in contact to ensure a successful and smooth installation process. Please note that prior to the delivery and installation of your building you must prepare a suitable base. We recommend a base that is firm, solid, level and no smaller than the size of your chosen product. We also recommend that a 2-foot clearance gap is left around all sides of the building for maintaining the upkeep of the timbers. This installation service is not available in Ireland. This product must be treated with a wood preservative and waterproof top coat once installed and annually thereafter. |
